Whenever we find ourselves in midst of these kind of situations, the first thing we wonder about is the way we look, our day to day life bogs us down, and with these unexpected plans that tired look or unclean face is the last thing we want to see, but then who has got the time to visit a parlour and get a clean up done, its often not possible. But what if I tell you that you can have a parlour like clean up in just 5 minutes..

Yes you read it right, with Nivea Total Face Clean Up, it just takes 5 minutes for you to have a clean and supple looking skin. More often than not, we all are rushed up with the day to day life, and stress about going to a parlour to get a clean up done. We dread the idea, because it normally means taking out at least 2 hours from your busy schedule, and in such scenarios products like these are a boon. Easy to use and easy to carry in your bag all the time.

I recently came across this product and must say I loved it completely. To me a clean up at home also meant spending 30-40 minutes and using 4-5 different products but not anymore, now with just one product and in 5 minutes I am done and whether I am at home or office, I can easily use it and get a total face clean up. It’s a 3 in one product that can be used as a face wash first, then scrub it gently on your face for about a minute and leave it as a face pack for another 3-4 minutes and ta daa.. in just five minutes your complete clean up is done.

My Rakhi Made Special by Dottedi

So I belong to the category of people who are single child of their parents, no I have no regrets as such, I love being alone, but certain occasions like Rakhi and all make you feel a little low. You want to have a brother to gift you some amazing stuff and shower his love. But its ok, I rather believe in self love, so whether its Valentines Day or Rakhi, I gift myself and make myself feel special indeed.

This year around, as I was looking at gifting options, I landed up on this awesome site called Dottedi and I was hooked. After a long stare and surfing through the pages, I settled for two things. I ordered myself a Mystery Box, which has a combination of gifts and goodies. There are consumables and also some beautiful gifts. In my mystery box I got Caramel Popcorns, a Beautiful Mason Jar, a Set of Shot Glasses, a Scented Candle, and oh how much I am in love with this box. I was amazed at the packaging, the box itself looked so gorgeous. The goodies inside were beautifully packed and it truly made me love myself more and feel very very special.

The next thing that I picked was a Spa Bucket. Who doesn’t love a spa, and when given a chance to get yourself a foot spa, I am always a sucker for it. In fact I love collecting spa products and sometimes just dip my feet in a bucket and relax myself. This beautiful bucket consisted of foot scrub, foot softener, a foot soak and a body scrub. The bucket itself looked so beautiful and this indulgence felt totally worth it.

By now you all must be knowing that I am fond of green tea and this fondness has been growing over the years. This fondness is the reason that I keep exploring new brands and flavours and the recent one being Gaia Green Tea.

Got hold of this assorted pack of green teas, 25 sachets in all, 5 sachets of 5 flavours each. Green Tea, Lemon Green Tea, Tulsi Green Tea, Ginger Green Tea and Mint Green Tea were included in the pack, and trust me each of them was refreshing and flavoursome. No flavoured tea had overpowering flavours or aromas, but just the right balance of taste and flavour. I loved the Lemon Green Tea and Tulsi Tea the most. As we all know the benefits of Green Tea, which helps in metabolism, and also in loosing weight, adding this pack to your shopping cart is a must. Gaia offers green teas in a lot of flavours like Jasmine, Honey, Camomile, Lemon, Mint etc. but when you aren’t able to decide which one to go on, this assorted pack really cracks the deal for you.

Also from the same brand, I tired Nutty Delight Muesli, which too was perfect. Crunchy, Crispy, Goodness of Fibre, No Cholesterol, it makes for a perfect breakfast and people like me also indulge in a bowl for healthy snacking whenever I get those untimely hunger pangs. You can enjoy it mixed a bowl of milk or just eat it like that, it tastes extremely good, both ways. It is made from rolled oats, wheat and corn flakes and is fortified with the goodness of honey. High on health and low on fat, it is all natural and a good source of fibre. Raisins & Almonds also enhance the taste a lot and helps getting that sweetness.

I have never been a tea drinker, but since last 2-3 years I have taken a conscious shift towards green teas and flavoured teas. I still can’t have the typical ghar ki chai or the masala tea, but green tea, lemon tea, black tea and other flavours are something that I sip on a daily basis. I recently discovered Garnet Glow Gourmet Teas, as these were sent to me by the Food Bloggers Council India for sampling, and since then I have been hooked. Garnet Glow has a huge range of flavoured teas available and they are even into customised teas. They allow you to use your tea base, then flavours and fragrances and boom.. you have a pack of your own customised tea just the way you want, and I think it also makes for an interesting gift.

Well from their pre-mixed range, I tried the Vanilla Black Tea, Jasmine Green Tea and Coconut Darjeeling Tea and must say that these single serves were amazing. Tea leaves looked and smelled absolutely fresh and the aroma was very turning on, while I was making the tea. My personal favourite out of this was the Vanilla Black Tea. The taste of Vanilla wasn’t over powering at all and this is what I really loved about it.
