Authentic Goan Chicken Cafreal

- 500 Gms Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1 Bunch Fresh Coriander
- 3 Springs Mint
- 1.5 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Whole Pepper Corns
- 3 Nos Green Chillies
- 1.5 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Toddy Vinegar Use regular vinegar, in case this is not available
- 2 tbsp Refined Oil
Whole Garam Masala
- 4 Nos Cloves
- 1 Nos Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Nos Cardamom
Prepare the Green Masala – Blend coriander, mint, chillies, peppercorns, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, ketchup, and toddy vinegar into a thick paste.
Marinate the Chicken – Add salt, turmeric, lemon juice, and the masala. Let it rest for at least 1 hour.
Cook – Heat oil in a pan. Sear chicken slices, then add leftover marinade with a splash of water. Cook until done.
Serve Hot – With lemon wedges, Goan poee, or steamed rice.
