Protecting Your Online Documents

You have set a password or a pin code for your laptop, and you are heading on a business trip. Will you have done this, are you sure your documents are protected? Are you sure nobody can get into your files? There are some cloud storage services that go to great lengths to ensure that your files on your Mac are protected from loss and hacking, but that doesn’t remove your responsibility. You need to know how you can protect your online documents so that whether you are receiving files from others, or utilizing files you already have, you are as safe as possible.

  • Look to use two factor authentication when you can. Multi Factor authentication at another level of security. It’s like having a password and then having a code so that you can make sure that you know what the password is but another person still cannot access or hack it. The reason this is so important these days is because hackers are becoming more and more sophisticated, so you can avoid this happening to you when you ensure you double your protection.
